DEEP LASER ENGRAVING

Deep laser engraving is a cost-effective fabrication process for a wide range of materials and components used in the medical, automotive, defense and aerospace industries.  Some of the benefits over conventional methods, i.e., machining and chemical-etching, etc., include the following:

  • Reduced setup and process times (rapid prototypes and production quantities).
  • Complex geometries with a tight radius can be achieved.
  • Small spot size accommodates hard-to-reach areas for high resolution, high quality finishes and controlled depths.

Supported materials include aluminum, brass, copper, stainless steel, titanium, exotic & high temperature alloys, stainless steel, Kovar®, Inconel®, Monel®, titanium, nitinol, anodized aluminum and nickel. Engraving depths dependent on material characteristics.
